It's the first time that i see a 599 like this. It looks good. I don't think that it belongs to PK though.

wow, the front looks amazing - so menacing! It is perfect.

I wounder why Ferrari did not continue the 599 for another 2/3years with this "face lift".

I'm completely amazed, since I always had a big interest in Ferrari special cars, from Brunei to PK...

I have never heard about that thing , and it looks absolutely fabulous.

Give us ANYTHING you know about

When and Where the pic was taken, did you see the owner/driver

    What a Spot !

I wish I had more info, but I did not take the photo. I found them on Instagram posted by @wvm3dreamdrives. The photos were taken at Miller Motorcars in Greenwich, CT and posted a few days ago. The description said the car was a 6-speed manual. That's all I got :/

from what I can see, it can't be a u.s spec car due to the lack of orange uglies or deflectors.
car seems to be missing turn signals too.
wheels can't be factory because it sticks out and lines flush with fenders like a Lamborghini that no ferrari can achieve from factory.
side skirts much angular and sharper than the gto's or 599's.
599 never came with Michelin PPSs from the factory except for gtos.
very interesting car and can't believe we car lovers never seen it.

There seems to be another grille GTO style behind the chrome modified one ...

It looks photoshopped, but also looks like an improvement. Whoever did it has a good eye.

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like it. I don't hate it by any stretch, I just think the updates are misplaced on an otherwise elegant, curvy lady. Messing with perfection.

I think this belongs to Jason Castroita's family. Jason Castroita used to work for PF and did the 599 design to begin with. I think this is more in line with what he originally had in mind for the 599. Go back and look at some of the original design art Ferrari gave out with the 599 and you will see what I'm talking about. I've seen this in person and like most cars, it looks better in person. In particular the front grill doesn't seem to work so well in pics but works better in person.

I think this is an early 2007 US car which they had PF do the mods....

PS- he also did the Maserati GT and the Maserati Birdcage concept car from a few years back. I think he's an excellent designer though maybe its just familiarity but I prefer the way the production 599 turned out. Still this makes the car work more interesting and I appreciate it for that.

Having seen this 599 can you say if did they changed the design for the rear on the car?
From what I can see; I like the more aggressive look now!

I saw it over 2 years ago and I really remember the front end and also the side as the lower valance/ back scoop is more aggressive- something in between what they did for the GTO/ something from Novitec. I think he tweaked the rear bumper but I really don't remember.

I wrote above this car makes the "car work more interesting.." I meant to say "car world more interesting..."

Much better than a normal 599, that front is amazing.
