Well, after a few weeks at my son's house being looked over, I get to pick up my car this weekend and bring it home. He's purchased some used challenge wheels and had them reworked at a wheel shop in DFW, hardwired a Passport Max 2, made the radio iPhone compatible, exchange for a GTO Grille, new tires and tpms and troubleshot an alarm error. Can't wait to drive it since I only drove it from the dealer to his house, about 10 miles, in rush hour traffic. Enclosed a few pics of the car. Anybody want some original star wheels?!

No name. The only shocker so far is the mpg according to my son. He says it's very thirsty!

Oops! Forgot that. We added the GTO grille too. Do you like it? I'll edit above. Also, we wanted MPSS tires but evidently they're unavailable for awhile. We'll just wait it out for those tires to become available.

I've enclosed a photo of the car when I picked it up at the dealer

Never mind. Will keep the wheels so when the 599 becomes like a 250 GTO and is at Monterey going for $20 million, I can include them too...

This car will fetch a million plus before it's all said and done with. I can promise the majority of us will see that happen!

Okay, after my 350 miles trip home, a few remarks. Remember, I'm coming from a 430 and R8 so take that into consideration.
    Pros:
    Big, wide, smooth, fast
    More modern cockpit
Under the radar looks Although it does turn heads, it's not as much as the 430. Most people stare at it until I'm gone and then finally figure it out and, by that time, I don't have to answer 5 people's questions at the gas station.
    Good Bose stereo speakers
    More techy stuff
    More comfortable Daytona seats
For one year difference between my owned models ('06 vs '07), much more updated and logical layout
    Roomy cockpit
F1-S (Superfast) is phenomenal! Almost don't need DCT

    Cons:
Under the Radar looks. Sometimes, it's nice to be noticed?
Not thrilled with Tubi Exhaust drone. Sounds great but I pick up a real bassy drone between 65-80mph. Above 80, it really quiets down a lot
Handling different from 430 a lot. 430, to me, is a track car, whereas the 599 seems like a drag car
    Quirky computer system
1 DIN radio so a good NAV system isn't possible. 430's excuse with the flip out system is even more of a joke (covering the air vents?!?)
Non DCT Tranny (not developed then)
No cruise control (excuse the blasphemy)
    Michelin tires made of Unobtainium

Final note: MUCH MUCH SMOOTHER at very high speeds. the 430 seemed "flighty" and jerky whereas this seemed much more directed and planted.

I'll keep adding to this as I can and as things pop into my head...
