Henry- Intake runners look fine. That is a late 07, so compatible with all the HGTE upgrades. Except for the wheels, excellent option packages. Good excuse to put GTO wheels and MPSS tires on her.
It looks like a shadow on the photo on the intake runners. For me the car looks very clean. I think there are not many blue 599 on the market, the color wasn't very poular, not as popular as on 550/575. Here in Europe, i saw only 2 blue ones listed for sale the past 4 months. Terry is right, the rims are a no go and should be replaced immediately. And the chassis nr is higher than 1569xx Terry, Sean is right, your 575 needs a stablemate, named 599 GTB. Daniel- Seems to be a wide variation in price on those GTO wheels. Best price I have seen for new ones is around 4000 pounds sterling, but that was a while ago. Henry- Affirmative, that is probably a $150K 599, but a really nice one so might be worth a bit more. She already has just about everything an 08 has except possibly the free CTEK battery charger. She even has Motronic 7.3.2.

Henry- If you had hung on to your 575M, pretty soon it would have been an even trade for an early 599.

Sean- I was a WSO but have a few landings, takeoffs, lots of formation time, an aerial refueling, and some dive bombs. Flying a collection of parts operating in close formation is kind of scary, though. Plus every rotary wing guy I have known was crazy as a loon.
terry - how do you tell whether a 07 will take all the HGTE upgrades ? by production # ? what is that number ?
Henry- From the Ferrari HGTE upgrade folder:156938 or later, which is how I knew that 599 was upgradable. If you just remember 157xxx or higher, close enough. That was when the change was made from Motronic 7.1.1 to 7.3.2. About the same time for the 612, too, we think.
No, 156936 is a chassis nr. I knew Terry's tipp and included this at my search for a 599, mine is a high 157xxx (imatriculation in January 2008). You find the chassis nr at the cover in front of the engine or at the drivers side on the chassis when you look through the windscreen in front of the steering wheel. Daniel
Daniel- Affirmative, assembly number is much lower. Just guessing, but AN would probably be around 7XXXX.
