Looks like it could be Canna di Fucile. Last a standard color around 1994.

Any chance you could find out what year it is or even better the VIN?
    Thanx!

Could be also standard grigio silverstone, sometimes hard to say on photos.
    Very nice car.

Thanks Taz, it does look very much like CdF it seems.

I did wonder if it was Silverstone, and owner confirmed no.

L.C- I know of several 575Ms in CdF, too, but it was an out of range paint color option. Not too expensive then, about $2K. Much more on later Ferraris.

I assume you looked at the one at Marshall Goldman. Beautiful car. My wife and I looked at a similar one in Florida, but her preference was for the one we bought in rubino micalizzato (PPG 324). But Grigio Scuro is a masculine color that suits the 599 extremely well.

Yes...it was the one at Marshalls. Great interior contrast. Now if only it had yellow calipers and shields! Each to his own however they are sorely missing. It would have given the car a nice pop.

The shields give the front of the car an extended appearance and brighten-up/disrupt what looks like a long design line across the side of the car. Only downside I have found with the shields is that other drivers know for sure, from all angles, that the car is indeed a Ferrari! We get far more questions and reactions than we do in our shield-less 550.

Someone posts pics of the last built V12 manual with LdM signature and people discuss the shades of grey and shields vs noshields. Wow.

We were not referring to that one, obviously.
