    Hello Folks :)

So, we were sent our first set of 599 parts - steering column surround, seat controls and head light / mirror controls.

My colleague Randy replicated the factory graphics to perfection and we have just completed the refinishing and laser work.

We don't just clean these off, these are stripped to bare plastic, fully refinished and laser etched for the graphics

We will post some more completed photos once the parts get assembled tomorrow. These are just also iphone photos.

Here is the before and after head light / mirror control :)

Thank you very much for taking the time to look and review our work.

Give us a call or shoot me an email if you would like to discuss your car :)

Beautiful work. As Terry writes, the parts look better than new. Also, a real travesty that a $325,000+ car has these problems.

    Thank you, Frank ;)

    Thanks, Jack

We are in western NY, south of Buffalo. Your 550 would be no issues at all. Shoot me an email if you wish to discuss :)

    Outstanding work!

Funnily enough, here in SA with our generally hot climate I haven't seen too many sticky cars and perhaps the strangest of all was a car that hardly ever left the garage, that had sticky parts.

Damn I need to do that on some of my 612 parts. Parts need to be shipped right? Silly question, how do I have them removed and reinstalled from the car?

Can you recreate buttons from scratch? My understanding is that elements like the reverse button differ from the conventional buttons (like the seat switches), and are therefor subject to crumbling/breaking and thus impossible to "fix" when they become sticky.

Is that true? If so, do you have a solution for that?

    Hello Joe,

You are correct - those buttons are rubber. Take a look at this thread: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/612-599/440166-f599-reverse-button.html

We have created a 3D model of the button and had one prototype 3D printed. 3D printing is expensive and the resolution is not fine enough. Also, the material has some heat challenges.

We are working on a solution to have these buttons molded. Stay tuned :)

Thanks for the info, Dave. Love the innovation.

I believe Isaac Newton once stated "For every sticky button, there is an unequal, and thoroughly superior, reaction."

Fantastic. How does it work, does it "burn" away the black paint and expose the paint underneath?

    Hi There,

The laser process actually is fairly involved, but yes, that's the short of it...

    Thanks for viewing.

    Hello Folks,

We've been refinishing alot of 599's as of lately. Here is an HVAC panel we did for a customer in Hong Kong. We thank him for his trust and support ;)
