Hi all, The car that I just bought has a clutch sensor and "clutch mechanism" (this the word used in the Ferrari system) changed under guarantee in the first 5000 kmiles
Clutch sensor I read about but clutch mechanism is something I did not see on the net for the 612, would you know which part it is? Was this part of the recall for the sensor?
To me a clutch mechanism is the big spring that enables trust to be constantly applied on the disc and get torque, these things are normally changed with the clutch and don't go wrong...
Anyway, let me know which part you think it is
    Thanks

You will need to ask that question to the person that performed the work.

Clutch position sensor. There were quite a few changes to these and one recall in the 2005/2006 timeframe. The F1 612 uses the same clutch as the three pedal 612 (and 456/456M/550/575), except the throw-out bearing has different seals for the different fluids (F1 synthetic ATF, 3 pedal brake fluid). The clutch position sensor tells the F1 system clutch position for use with the hydraulic actuator for gear shifting and clutch actuation.
