599 aero / leak problem

    All on my way down to the Mille Miglia in my 599gtb for the first time I got to take it well over 100mph. What I was not prepared for was a shocking wind / HVAC / leak / squeak of high pressure air got repeatedly at any speed over 120mph.

    The autobahn was where this appeared and we could not locate the source:

    Eliminated already are wipers, and window leaks.

    Anyone had similar experience?

    My 612 is doing the same somewhere near the rear side windows. It drives me nuts!

    I haven't encountered this , but I'll pay close attention next time as when I hit those speeds, my eyes and ears are on the lookout( if you know what I mean...) .

    No, mine is "silent" at 200 Km/h also.

    Perhaps you have to let control the side window adjustment.

    Had this problem in a GTO at a 100 and plenty. Trying to recall what the solution was, I think it was related to the AC.

    In my opinion this might make sense. I say this because the aerodynamical noise my 612 is on/off.

    I'll check the position of the AC control (recycling??) next time i drive the car and play with it during cruising time to check if it is related to the noise (???).

    My 599 is totally quiet at any speed, even at times when I exceed 150 - 180 mph

    My experience was same as Manuel. 2007 599 GTB. Sorry can't help.

    have had a similar problem in another car , and noticed that if i siwtched the air con from Fresh to Recycled, the noise stoped, turned out to a seal in the circulation system, so try switching it over at speed and see if it stops
