    virtually the same time as the mighty F40...:) Never though it could be faster than the 575 (?)

    (wonder if its the F1 or the three pedal version time)

    Ricardo- 25 hp more, bigger brakes, quicker shifting F1 system, not much heavier with aluminum chassis. So yes, possible, especially since that time was likely an HGTC model with CCMs.

    The only thing to note here is the advancement of modern tires. An F40 with similar spec tires will eat the 612.

    The weight difference between them is half a ton.

    The F40 with new tires AND a new set-up might eat a lot more than a 612... :)
