Hi there, I am in search for a 599 GTB and found 2 2007s. After close inspection one has BASE MSRP at $258,845 vs the other at $273,845? Also see the one for lower MSRP had a Destination charge of $11,100???? vs $1,500 on the higher BASE MSRP Total Suggested retail about same as $336k. Similarly equipped but both have a "other Options" list for $9,858 and $14,331 respectively. TIA
The first 599s did not have CC brakes as standard. Early in the production run, they made them standard, and that probably explains the increase in base MSRP.
Correct, that's why the base price is lower. I would be willing to bet the higher "destination charge" is related to air shipping. Sure, it was on a truck-- for the last few miles to the dealer.
CC brakes were optional for MY 2007,standard for MY 2008 and up. From 07 to 08,MSRP went up by $39,000. Part of this was options becoming standard and part was more profit.
