Seems like a check valve.... takes long crank times, after sitting 1 day it takes a bit to get started. Last service note from Ferrari says possible fuel pump... anyone? How difficult to change the fuel pump? in the tank? any help appreciated...

    thx

There are two fuel pumps and the WSM says the fuel tank must be removed to replace the pumps. On the earlier V12s like the 575M, there was an opening on the rear of the tank that allowed the pumps to be removed while the tank is in place. The openings migrated to the top of the tank on the 612, probably to cut down on leaks, so you have to remove the tank to get at the openings and pumps.

The Ferrari dealer should be able to check the pump pressure before having to replace a pump.
