Well, I'm starting my search. This is my retirement gift to myself, so I'm looking for exactly the right combo. No hurry, but I want it NOW. I'm looking for an HGTE, hopefully yellow or red, with under 10,000 miles. Anything but black. I've read through many of the posts here detailing what to look for and what to beware of. This forum is full of excellent helpful info. Has anybody used a car broker? I'm asking since there is a local guy who finds cars for a fee. I have a decent handle on asking prices, but as for actual selling prices, who really knows. I would certainly appreciate any help and leads that people may be willing to share. Thanks, David
Saw a yellow one at FoA today (for service I assume) and I agree with above. Special and rare to see.
I have one red but not for sale ...... There are only 200 of them mine is red tan precious €€€€€€€€ rising
There are only 200 red 599 GTB's in the world? Interesting to know! Good luck with the search OP, please post pictures if all goes well!
I just bought a red 599 factory HGTE myself from Ferrari main dealer with 2800 miles on the clock and 1 owner. Also its a RHD as I'm in the UK. I did quite a lot of digging on the 599 production numbers and managed to get a 2011 run-out car with factory HGTE which is actually rarer than RHD GTO's. Hoping its a good investment as its mint but I love it either way. I've seen the Alonso HGTE's selling for £400,000 +and the only difference is that my car doesn't have the ugly livery.
