Seems loosing to ford focus as a drivers car and coming in last place is no longer vipers biggest indignity. Hbo's hilarious comedy east bound and down returns with anti hero kenny powers styling in a green gen 2 viper! Viper cant catch a break

I bought a new Viper to add to my bunch. I love the car. It is a much better car than the 2009 Viper I had. Now it is really a fast car with good handling. You no longer get burned by the exhaust or feel the heat.

I think they did a really great job reinventing the car. It has a great sound and the lines have been rounded better.

Hats off to the engineers and designers who played a part in the car. A great job!

I drove one recently. Why has no one mentioned that the entire tach becomes a bright red VIPER fangs logo as a shift light at redline? How cool is that?

Also did you notice the red Viper that flashes on when you start the car.

The earlier car will hold these back in sales. I hated my 2009 Viper so much I almost did not even want to drive it. It has a completely different performance demanor.

    Life is good :)

Vipers awesome and I'm a corvette guy.

SRT loaded these up and dealers were acting off putting for a few months...with big market adjustment...they almost screwed the pooch..

These are spectacular cars at 100 grand.....at 140 to 160 ...with market adjustment....they went over the top.

SRT does no magazine advertising so of course it's going to loose in comparison tests.".

The Viper is awesome, but they killed the looks. The original Viper still looks the best. The new one looks like a catfish. It does not look scary at all, which is what a Viper should be.

It is a fantastic car though, great performance.

SRT Viper Production Cut Due To Low Demand, Inventory Pile-Up

production has been reduced, not stopped.

still, over half the cars built are unsold. not a good sign :(

I think the Viper has become too niche for its own good.

    this too.

the pricing of the new model is out of the reach of the core Viper buyer, much like the ZR1 was out of reach of the core Vette (even Z06) buyer.

Think they may've been trying to de-niche this one a bit, too ...

I love my 2013 Viper, a very exciting car. The dealer has another new Viper on the showroom. This car has a painted strip and they did a great job at the factory. If you put your fingers over the stripe you can not feel the seam at all.

They told me the manufacturer is thinking about making another 3000 cars.

I hope it works out for them so the company stays in good shape. But if they only make a few, it may make my 640hp car more valuable in the years to come.

I love my 2014 Vette and the new 640hp viper. I think it is silly to compare these cars. The Viper is a very fast sports car and the vette at least with the first model although a good car to drive is not. Both car drive very well

The new Viper is the car that should have been buily first. I had a 2009 Viper and hated the car. The new one is a different car in cery way except it still has those venom, bad boy good looks. I think it on par with my favorite car of all time the ZR1 Vette.

    A great Thanksgiving to all

I had an invite to go to a Viper driving event in Houston last week.....but after reading about how disappointed the Viper faithfull was on viperclub, I decided to skip it.
