Strangely, it looks great from every angle except in pure profile. There it looks surprisingly plain. Front, back, and 3/4 views look sharp. The interior is a big improvement. Proof will be in the driving.

Me too. I saw some renderings that had a lot of Aston influence and I thought it looked fantastic. This is a nice refresh, but again, it is just a refresh of the same old design.

I thought the same thing. I also really wish the rumors about a size reduction and more substantial weight reduction came to fruition.

It is still rather large. I like it, but the car should have been put on a diet. Only the height dropped. Anyone have the weight? I wonder if they will ever make a right hand drive version for parts of Europe and Japan...........

I thought, that from all that I was hearing, they were going to get away from the retro look. It's pretty much a facelift, not a departure like the Vette did.

That was the rumor, but I don't think it's accurate. Weight is said to be down 200#, and the length is marginally shorter than the last iteration.

That is what they are reporting. Only the height is less. Not sure about the weight.

I like it a lot. A nice half price bmw 4 series. Between this and vette, i think usa has come long way from dark days of 2008!

The interior needs serious help. Looking forward to seeing the overall design in person.

I wonder who the target buyer is for this car. I rarely see Mustangs around here and when I do it is usually the GT500.

I like it. But then I'm a bit partial to Mustangs.

Not revolutionary like the C7 Vette, but Ford did what they set out to do, modernize the platform without galvanizing their hardcore customer base. Time will tell if it attracts the European buyers that they are going after.

Exactly. Last time my cousin was here from Italy the first thing he wanted to do was go to ford dealership and visit Orange County choppers lol.

    I like it.

    A lot.

I haven't owned a domestic car since I sold the Mustang GT I purchased new in 1998.

I have had "grown-up" cars since, and I really like the way this looks.
    Very Good, FOMOCO!!

How terribly boring. I cannot understand how they could've made it even worse. It wasn't bad before, but if you were to look at it, you'd think "Oh, well it looks like it's progressing towards a retro look again". This just looks like another run of the mill coupe. Such a shame.

it's also equipped with an Air Speed indicator. I believe it's in knots.
