Pretty agressive pricing consideing its not even a fuelie and has lots of non OEM bits (chrome) and wheels/tires. Granted those things are easy enough to change
I posted in the for sale thread, my dad had one (my brother now owns it) - I knew the car inside and out. Triple black, 2x4bbl, 270HP. Drive like a truck compared to my E-Type, but look and sound so right. I refrain from commenting on for sale threads, but I do agree this is a little aggressive...we'll see!
If you venture over to the Corvette forum, you'll find similiar condition examples for nearly half the asking price of this one..
I agree way to much! Those wheels are awful to say the least. Solid axle Vettes just aren't selling currently, though the 61 and the 62 are 2 of my favorites.
I just sold my 1961 Red/Red dual quad 4-speed car that I promise was excellent and original in every way but engine serial number (correct date code) for $50K and it was on the market for over 6 months.
You have pics? My father had a triple black, dual 4bbl, 4-spd - numbers matching. Gave it to my brother who had the frame and engine completely redone. Interior is in fine shape, but the paint on the body is cracking. Surprised it stayed for sale so long at that price, but the market is the market.
