Here's Why Jim Glickenhaus Bought A Corvette Z06 For His Daughter
What a great story-written by a true enthusiast! That Corvette is stunning and doesn't look a bit out of place, even surrounded by some of the world's greatest sports cars.
Just saw it. Really nice and emotional reading. Your photo together with your daughter is just beautiful. Best
So if I'm blessed with a daughter... I should definitely take her out with me in my cars.. She seems like someone who knows what she wants.
Great story, Sir. Trying to infect my daughter with the sports car sickness as well Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ditto. My 4 year old son already has the bug way worse than me, now we are working on my niece. Got to have at least a few in the next generation that appreciate internal combustion! Jim, great story and very, very well written. She should moonlight for Road & Track! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have 2 daughters, they do love my cars. They cried when I sold my '72 240Z, but I replaced that with a Ferrari, so they are pretty stoked. Since both of my cars are 2 seaters (308 and Jag E-Type), they alternate when I go to car shows, which is cool. Imagine how I felt when both asked me if they can learn to shoot!! Congrats to you and your daughter - what a cool dad you are!!!
Great article. I thought this picture was interesting. It shows the dimensions and design elements of the P4/5 and Corvette side by side. Also, I noticed the nose of the P4/5C is peeking around the corner of the shop in the back. . Image Unavailable, Please Login
You have raised one fantastic daughter. I just read the story from Gene on the Corvette forums. Veronica's story shut up the vitriol being spewed by the haters for about 10 minutes......a near un-heard of feat .
