I wish they had bridged the performance disparity between the z 1 and the zo6 with additional NA horsepower.

 

Still waiting on the mid-engine Zora to happen. Come on Chevy !

 

At least this one has some performance upgrades as opposed to the C6 GS which seemed to just be a body kit.

Odd they would come to market with this car so early, given the Z06 is so early in its run

 

Corvette forum guys seen to think that announcement is next month. This one does nothing for me.

 

my guess is the GS customer wanted the car earlier than right before a facelift/model replacement.

 

I take it this is a rhetorical question

The z06 is hardly the stellar track performer the name would imply, instead its more of a better handling Zr1. So chev is offering a vette for those who might consistently track one, at least untill a proper z06 comes out.

 

New York Auto Show maybe?

 

I thought it was Cadillac that moved their headquarters to NY?
