who is ordering one?
I would love too. Just can't justify the price anymore. Also very interested to see if the twin turbo coyote comes to life that's been rumored. Don't have the inside scoop anymore since I left the dealership.
honestly in the world of full size pickups, $50k isn't ridiculous. go check out MSRP on a Duramax Sierra Denali http://www.autoblog.com/2016/07/23/2017-ford-f-150-raptor-pricing-leaked/
True. But that's starting price. I want leather and the toys. Most I've seen the way I want are $58-65k sticker. Used haven't been falling very fast either. They are awesome trucks though. But I'd rather not have a car payment as long as possible. The big diesels are really going up. I can spec one easily for more than I paid for my house.
I ordered a loaded ruby red screw In mid oct, still waiting for a build date to be scheduled at least I was able to find a msrp deal after a lot of effort!
Rumors are 2018 will have an EcoBoost 5.0. Borrowed from Shelby GT500. Would love to see that happen.
I was leaving Detroit on Sat and saw at least 30 of them driving North on RT 75 . They all still had little white stickers all over them. Ron
I'm ordering one, I was heart broken when we sold our last raptor. Although there expensive I drove mine for 80k miles/3 years and lost only 15k on it. I was considering a ram 2500 with a cummins motor but we already have a ford 7.3. My neighbors will have a heart attack with another diesel cold starting in the winter.
Ha ha, completely not happening. That horsepower kings click bait article has everyone's panties in a bunch Mines supposed to be here in march but ford has fed up this process so bad I don't have high hopes
Yeah, the more I researched the more I realized it's a pipe dream. But the Ecoboosts 510ft lbs isn't a slouch. Just hate the loss of the sound.
Seem? Do the sales stats indicate that to be the case? Curious. In every performance metric the eco 6 out classes the 6.2 so forgoing a raptor based on it not having an 8 is odd to me....even if it made no sound.
Every dealer around here is asking 5-10k over sticker. There aren't many on the lots at all. They seem to be moving well in Texas.
Dealers here in the northeast can’t get them on the lot fast enough. Selling as soon as they come in.
Maybe production is higher with the Ecoboost? Every dealer in this area seems to have more than a few available at any given time. I still am impressed with the resale on the 6.2s and thought they would go down after the V6 came out.
My tundra lease up in 12 months. Im thinking of consolidating my daily Equinox and weekend tundra into one raptor as a cover the bases vehicle.
