Amazing how low the mileage is on some of these cars. If I had such an awesome car I'd have to drive it.

Mine only has circa 3,600.....I believe if you have multiple exotics the mileage is spread out among the rest.

I have a number of exotics and they all have 20,000+. They are meant to be driven. My GT has 26,000 Miles.

I understand the multiple vehicle thing. I have a couple of cars I only fill up 6 or 7 times a year.

True, plus most of us have important things that we have to do other than drive cars.

I really hate walking/running to work. I also love road trips. What is the sense in having great cars in the Garage?

Different strokes for different folks ...my 2002 BBI had 18,000 kilometers when I sold it. The buyer picked it up in South Florida and drove it to Pennsylvania in the dead of winter. I took it to car shows,he wanted to drive the hell out of it. We all have different perspectives. Do what makes you happy.

You have to have the time to be able to drive them to the places you can. Some people are just busy or not in town.

I loved my FGT. They are great cars and reliable with a wonderful radio system. I sold mine with 9205 miles on the clock. I paid $179k for the car and sold it for 4260K. I wish I had kept it!

I have not found one for sale around me. Most likely two expensive for me now.

    Great memories

I am not selling it, I am just a book reviewer that read the new book. But being from Detroit, I appreciated this behind the scenes look at Ford's secret race shop. If anybody in this thread thinks it's worth reading a review, I'll post it....

Maybe for a Heritage edition ... maybe. But never even approaching this value for a regular 05/06 GT.

The numbers on all The GT's were strong.
They were dead on due to mileage.
Heritage 2006 peaked at 500 grand with no miles.
No miles any other color 300 grand is average.
The slide happens from there depending on the miles.
Remember 275 is 300 grand with the commissions and all.
Exceptions to the above, THE PROTOTYPES and of course the crown jewel of the entire FORD GT 2005/2006, SONIC BLUE.
PT's have been around 500 to 750 grand, the group that still owns Sonic Blue have turned down 1.2 million.
All of the above have huge pedigree to back them up.
They are the last true supercar/hot rod without all the tech .
