Sunday - December 16th from 1 to 4PM, it will be in the same parking lot as our current C&C takes place in. I hope I'm not the only one that noticed this banner in the C&C parking lot, but here it is for those that missed it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
They put a card in my car at C&C as well. I wonder if they did that to all the cars there or just the exotics? Not sure if I will be able to make it to that one.
I park further from the show, unless everyone want to see some VTEC mingled with the V12s, I can certainly pop the hood for ya'll.
or maybe just open a box of King Eds* start blazing. *kidding. Probably something from the DR, rather than the shelf at Circle K.
I wonder where the BBQ is coming from. I was in Dallas last week and almost brought back several pounds of Texas BBQ for a get-together we had on Saturday night. I love AZ, but that's one thing that you can't find here is good BBQ. A Rudy's recently opened in Chandler and I'll eventually have to make the loooooonnngggg drive down there to see if it's the same as Rudy's in TX. The Dickey's that have opened up here are totally different than in TX.
Rudy's is amazing. It's original location used to be about 5 miles away from my parents in Austin, but when we moved after a year to North Austin and have been there since many years ago, there was another like 5 miles away. I can tell you that Rudy's the same as in Texas, I freaked out when I saw it going up because I was always looking for good BBQ here and I had been homesick. I forgot you were a Texan! Dang it, now I want BBQ!
Three things that haven't made it here that they have in Texas: 1 BBQ 2 A donut shop in every strip mall 3 family run Chinese food in every strip mall
Mmm...Shipley's! I have Round Rock Donuts right near my place in Austin, I go there every time I'm home. That and Smokey Mo's BBQ!
I travel to Texas quite a bit for business and do enjoy the convenience of the donut shop locations! For BBQ here in AZ, I am partial to Honey Bears. It still doesn't compare to the original County Line, but I like it for what it is.
The perk to running a mobile business...Places to eat around the valley!! I have tried Rudy's and give them 2 thumbs up. Also...a whole in the wall BBQ place in Tempe(ish) is Andrew's BBQ. Darn tasty as well
LOL!!! Don't be dogging on the jeep...I play in that world too! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Saw it at Cars and Coffee months ago, it was huge, that Jeep would have still dwarfed your H2. At least it's seeing off road, probably the only one that is. I have yet to see a Range Rover go off road too.
It's an off-roader, not a rap star cruiser. 37" tires now, 40-inchers will easily fit next time, but I'd have to do a little more suspension work to get those 54's on there that the jeep had. Funny, I'm considering lowering the 458. I live at the extreme ends of the spectrum. I'm so old...ugh. I just realized all three of these are probably from before you were born! 81-F150, 84-Bronco, 92-F250. Well, maybe not that last one. That guy waxing that Bronco was so skinny! Turn out was great, I can't believe the guy took me out for a ride in the Enzo! It was incredible! The straight pipe'd Tubi makes it sound like you are going so much faster. What an experience!
