1st series huh, how many times have you blown your diff???? :D I had 17915 (2nd series). I have a 365bb register which lists it as metallic grey and last owned by a Phillip C (I met him a few years back and I think he had sold it at that time-don't know where it is now-probably in a mechanics workshop with a blown diff :D) Cheers

    Hi 365boxer,

#17401 was exported to the UK sometime in the 1980's. I have a feeling that it ended up in Japan at one stage. Sadly I lost all my BB files when my PC was pinched so I'm doing this from memory. Nathan Beehl would know I'm sure. Interestingly, as the first RHD 365BB and the 9th. production car, #17401 carried engine number 19.

How is your car going, have you finished the resto?

    Regards,

    Carl.

Wasn't #17401 the car Laki H had in the 80's? It was the Melbourne motor show car, also the UK motor show as I recall.

If so, he fitted a 512 transaxle, supposedly the last NOS one from the factory. Sold it to Ian M in Canberra, it then went to the UK, late 80's or early 90's. I've seen it advertised in UK classic magazines more than once since.

Les McNeill painted his car a ford Louisville truck grey. The reg was Victorian IWP-666.
The plates are now registered to a BB512. The car was the London Motor Show car 100%.
Any ideas where this car is?
