    Does anybody know the number of 348's there may be in Australia inclusive of tb, ts and spiders? Any info or photos of 348's in Oz would be appreciated.

    do you have a 348 ? i'm looking to buy one soon. i was speaking to a Ferrari Dealer last week who tells me in Australia 348 are very rare. They apparently holding their value well, and people are just hanging on to them.

    I'm in the same boat as you - looking to buy one soon. I am hanging out for a pristine one - must be Rosso Corsa with tan leather. I have not looked at any as yet - how about you. I'm in NSW but would travel anywhere in Oz to buy a good 348. Maybe others will post as to numbers, prices etc. here in Oz. They seem to range from 120k to 150k here. I was looking @ a mid 2003 Unique Cars mag today and they have come down in price from then.

    lance Dixon has a '91 model 348. does anyone know anything about it ? Is it good value, too expensive ??

    There is one for sale at the prestige car dealer (unsure of name) in Sydney, its red, but not sure what interior it has. The dealer is located on Victoria Rd, about 600m from the anzac bridge, at Balmain. If you want i could probably go past later and get there number. The car is going for 139k.

    not sure if this is the guy who is on the left as you go west on Victoria Rd but if it is the cars he sells there have dodgy pedigrees

    Prestige Motos have 348 TS Rosso for $149,000 i have seen it and it looks in pretty good condition. He told me the Kms but i have forgotten. Might be worth Checking. Saw i few in the recent Unique Car Mag....there was a Yellow one i didnt mind. But what i did notice was some of the prices of The 355's..... there were some for $185,000 now that is cheap dont you think.

    There's a red 348, not sure if tb or ts at Mosman Automobiles.
    Heaps of nice cars there -Lambo's, F355/F360 as well.

    No, its on the right if you are heading west. I think i know who you are talking about ;). Its the place "Ferrari01974" called, but the price has dropped to 129k now.

    So what would the mark-up be on a 348 from a dealer's perspective? If you walk into the showroom able to expend the right $$$ and with no trade-in, how much do you think you could realistically offer below the asking price before being shown the door. Is the classic car market depressed enough at the moment to allow for bargain buys in 348's (or 355's for that matter) ie. how realistic are the current asking prices for 348's in Oz. I wish we could buy them at USA prices!!!

    Guy, a Dealer I think, on the Gold Coast sells a lot of Ferraris. A couple of my friends have bought very good cars ( TR & 348) from him at keen prices. He advertises in Unique Cars Mag. Cannot rember his name but his mobile number ends in 1000.

    The name of the Ferrari seller on the Gold Coast is Glen his number is 0411 631000. I believe he has two 348s in stock as well as other Ferraris. Worth a call.

    If you are in sydney my mechanic also has a ferrari showroom in Rose bay.His name is Rudolf and his worshop is located in Newtown.He also imports ferraris and has the compliance for them.He has a 348 spider I think its black but he can get you most ferraris new and old.His number is 02 95194332.If you call him tell him maurice with the GT4 referred you.Very good mechanic and also a good parts source.

    Called in to Mosman Automobiles on Saturday - the 348tb has been sold. Also, the 348tb Lance Dixon in Melbourne had for sale recently has also been sold. I'm looking to buy a 348, preferably a tb, in excellent to concours condition. Must be in Rosso Corsa with tan interior. Any assistance to find one in Oz would be appreciated.

    Called @ Galleria Veloce, Rose Bay recently - Rudi wasn't there. Left my phone number to call me if anything cropped up. They have a red 348ts there. It had 145K on it there, but 155K on their website?? Would prefer a 348tb but they seem to be rare here in Oz. A good one is bound to come up for sale sooner or later as current owners upgrade to 355's etc. Here's hoping. Keep me posted if anyone hears of an impending sale.

    My reply post is current situation, the 348 for sale has its nose pointing out of the wholesalers roller-door, its kinda like screaming out, "buy me".

    Still don/t know why the 400 series, Mondial, & 348 are not considered *real* Ferrari's?

    Is a Ferrari with a non-Ferrari engine [ie Chev/Ford transplant] still a Ferrari?

    To much thinking!!
