Those who are going to get a fatter ministerial retirement pension when they know they are about to get shafted.

In NSW it's a revolving door of ministers and back benchers have their hands up for a ministry portfolio even though they know it's for a couple of months till they get booted, Then they are set to retire on a bigger Lifetime pension!! :( :(

pensions? the best scam I've seen recently is the member (a country member, perhaps?) for Penrith who got caught with her fingers in the till, hung out till she was eligible for a 2M pension. If anyone else did that they'd be in jail, not collecting a fat pension...

No names on a forum! However if you google 'penrith by election 2010' and select the ABC report all will be revealed - more or less. What they don't reveal is that she had been suspended for months and finally resigned the day after she was eligible for the pension.

Our 'esteemed' premier didn't have the balls (well, obviously) to fire her, despite admitting that she (the member for Penrith) had told a couple of porkies to ICAC...
