It would behoove us greatly not to even hiccup for fear of offending anyone who shouts at us while suggesting with great relish and enthusiasm that anyone have their face punched in, be they in OZ, US or elsewhere. Just harden the **** up, mates, bend over, and take it like a man!

I'm not suggesting that the offended party doesn't understand Aussie or Yank, let alone general humor, or long-running inside jokes.

Nor am I suggesting it was all a ruse and/or setup from the beginning.

The fact is, we delete hundreds of threads per year - most based on the thread starter's request, as was the case with the thread in question.
