For the record, I have never met anyone on this website and wouldn't know Peter if I fell over him, but if what he has posted there above is correct than that person is a complete and utter dickhead and lower than a snakes belly.

I HAVE been completely and utterly broke (about 10 years ago) and I can tell you the emotions and thoughts you go through are something you wouldn't wish on anyone.
Sometimes when I realise I might be getting a bit ahead of myself now (because things are going reasonably well) I remind myself what it was like back then.
It's a pretty sharp reality check.

Regardless of what anyone's financial situation may or may not be (again, not talking about Peter here. Could be anyone), for some knob on an Internet forum to try to taunt someone about it shows an appalling lack of decency.

No worries. It's all well and good to take the piss on sites like this but that kind of **** makes me lose my sense of humour very quickly.

Naturally his profile tells us nothing.

I know several people who have made and lost very significant fortunes - far more than I have or will ever know - and although it's a cliche, the true mark of a person is whether you keep getting up and having another go.
Cheap shots from anonymous online heroes says far more about them than the people they are having a go at.

Anybody who knows PP just a little bit would realise what a load of tosh that rumour is.

Stevecomp (or racecomp on AE ) is a prat. Makes beautiful carbon parts and seems a true artisan in his craft but the man is a hypocrite……and at least whenever PP has made personal remarks on the internet, they can be substantiated. Stevecomp gloating even before he's got the facts straight. Complete tosser.

Stevecomp, if you have a problem with PP, state your case. At least we ALL know why PP has his axe to grind with FF and I don't recall a time that PP has actually been wrong in his character assessments. Pretty much everything he has said has been on the money and in my books, that means he 'ain't' broke.

He reserves his acidic wit for two types of people-his friends and dickheads. Steve, you now fall into the latter. You can no longer seek refuge on the moral high ground!
