I've never looked at the MotoGP website before. It's got a great history of statistics back to 1950. I had NO idea Agostini was as dominant as he was. I mean, I knew he was good, but champion year after year after year, then a break and he did it again on Yamaha. Awesome.
He did a demonstration race at Oran Park in Sydney 40 years ago, I was there and he and the MV seemed to be one unit his riding was that fluent
hmmm....he did one at Laverton I think around that time too, but the bike was very very slow, relatively. Might have been a bit later than that maybe.
Exciting race, as you expect with this category. Rossi highest points score ever record holder now. Gee I'm glad I have a Honda
I was just thinking how the 3 women I know that all have 3x8 GTS models and yet aren't hairdressers. Must mean they are the best cars to own
Women are very astute, for all their other faults which are too numerous to quote here, we are limited to about 3 exabytes
Great race. Yet again, I wonder if Bautista is ever going to do well. He's obviously a good rider, he can be right up there, but his mistakes keep costing him dearly. Rossi looked good, but to put it into context, this was against Marquez only 6 weeks after breaking his leg. My money is strongly on Marquez to take the season. I fully expecting wins from Ducati now that I'm rid of mine.
Lol, I doubt you'll have an issue, I'm playing it super safe while I am getting used to this bike. Though in a straight line I have opened it up a few times.... I need to start taking days off during the week, but I'm back studying at the moment so I don't have a lot of spare time.
I was surprised we didn't see more people jump the gun in reaction to seeing him go so early. He did a good job to get as high in the positions as he did, but at the same time, we've seen Rossi and Stoner have even better comebacks in the past. Marquez is just dominating, no other way to put it. Even pulling in the lead that Lorenzo had in that first lap, on hard tyres no less.
