Just wondering how long I can leave the car between runs without any battery maintainer? I generally do 70kms per run if I take it out. Save at two weeks interval?
two weeks should be fine mine manages up to 1 month, maybe longer - never left it sitting for longer than a month
I use a trickle charger all the time, cheaper than buying new batteries all the time And mine is driven daily
You bought the car to drive. Drive it every week. Half hour per week to not void battery warranty. Get yourself a CTek Battery Maintainer as soon as you can. You can leave it on for months at a time safely.
So far I have managed every week... Latest pic...sitting in the cafe to admire... N see who is checking it out Image Unavailable, Please Login
That looks great. I want to find a café to take mine too as well, but I can never find one with a big enough window and/or a car park out the front.
I'll only put mine on a trickle charger if I know I wont be driving it for more than 2 weeks.. Every week driving or even better daily driving wont drain the battery..if it does then something else is wrong.
That's a good thing about old tech. never have to worry. The battery in mine was in it when I bought the car Nov 06 it has needed a jump start twice and I don't know why.
Do 360s have a battery cut-off switch? I left my car in the garage for 8 weeks when we went on our honeymoon. Flicked the cut-off switch back on when I got home and she started immediately. Battery was still very strong.
That's the way to do it with a 355 IMO. I also had a charging point installed in the engine bay so that I could easily charge the battery if I forgot to disconnect. (without pulling things apart)
I do too, but being left stranded a couple of times with a crook battery has left me a bit raw, I think.
CTeks comes with pig tails so you can easily trickle charge them within the cabin. And yes 360s do come with a battery kill switch, located in the front luggage compartment.
