Had an "invisible bra" fitted to 430, not as good as the result on my 996 T.T. Same comppany did both. New to this chat for stuff, pls be patient!!!
Just sold my Golf GTI, for which I had a full 3M Stoneguard kit fitted by OziCozi from new. They did a very nice job. Not sure I would rush to do it again. After 3 years, the bonnet film was dull and yellowing (I had cleaned it only with the spray supplied by OziCozi) and the edges were lifting, particularly on the front bumper. Wherever the film lifts, dirt attaches to the adhesive underside and turns it black. Then there is tree sap, which seems to bind to the surface and can't be completely removed. Perhaps not so apparent on a darker colour, but not good on a white car. Stone chips are ugly, but so is the film after a few years normal wear and tear.
Understandable to see the Golf go. Have you ever seen a more Whomo looking guy/gay? NTTAWWT Image Unavailable, Please Login
I had it on the 355 and it still looked like new after 10 years! Maybe it's no good for a daily? Saved my bacon on the first GG Of course when it was painted a new lot was installed.
I've been mad for years Mrs KIAI needed more room for golfing gear and I decided to keep the old Benz wagon as my tow car, because I couldn't find anything else that had as much load room and still comfortable for the haul to Phillip Island. So goodbye Golf and hello Mazda 6 Touring (her choice). MHOS F-car arrives on Monday
