    Quit grumbling girl !!

    I love eating on planes, travelled heaps during my IT days, Leonie use to hand me a new suitcase full of clothes as I dropped it from the airport on the way to another airport .... absolutely loved it and miss it :(

    I hate flying, too boring for me.

    I would rather drive 20 hrs to Brisbane than spend 2 hrs on a plane and guess what................................I have driven to Brisbane more times than I have flown. :D

    I have been pulled over a few times for speeding back in the day.

    But nothing crazy, always below 10 km/h.

    Last time was on the way back from our GC wedding back in 2009.

    If the Pilots let me have a fly I would enjoy the flight much more. :D

    No you wouldn't. Or, at least the passengers wouldn't. :)

    Actually I've come to think the smartest people are a couple of rows behind the pilots;
    drinking, eating, sleeping, and farting their way to the destination.

    The F-111 flight simulator was fun, I use to bomb San Francisco , it was the only town on the sim when I was there

    Try flying for a living.... Airline food full of carbs and salt, hotels rooms with hair in the sheets.......only 20 years left of it til I retire... If my kidneys hold up to the constant dehydration!!

    Wasn't a problem in the old days when I got chauffeured 20 mins to Kai Tak and then business class on a Major airline to wherever, but these days it's economy on mainland carriers, not even a wine available and most flights are delayed. This week's effort was: leave work 1700 Wed arrive Chengdu 2300, meet team and plan for next day presentation so bed at 0130 Thur. Meeting runs 0830 till 1530 the fly to Shanghai where we get to hotel around 2230. Meetings all day Friday and delayed flight home so I get to bed around 0200 Sat. Not a decent coffee, meal or vino in the whole 60 hours... It sucks.

    Well your's and my day is :

    Think about getting up at 10am
    Get up at 11am
    Breakfast by noon
    Take the ferrari for a drive
    Lunch at 3pm in the mountains
    Latte at 5pm
    Fill the car for tomorrow's effort
    Post on fchat with photos to piss off the working class :p
    Reserve table for dinner
    Hot chocolate for bedtime

    It's a hard life but we manage :p :p

    Is the dehydration because you don't want to drink anything so you don't have to go to the toilet?

    Take it from me, I've learnt my lesson after being hospitalised for two days in an Intensive Care Unit, you must keep yourself hydrated regardless of the inconvenience of having to constantly go the toilet.

    Thanks for not flaming me guys - I really did need a vent this week and can't say anything in the office as my boss has just had some very bad medical news. She's been coping with schedules like this for the past 18 years pretty much on her own and I'm just going to have to 'girl-up' to more of them as I try to take some more of her load. Mercifully she'd already made the decision to shrink the office a bit (down from over 70 to about 50 in the past 6 months - still a lot for one person to support) so we have a pretty tight, supportive team now. Wish us luck!
