Ah forget it, nothing.
Sunday afternoon, the snake does laps of my study while I'm working She's happy to be handled but now too big to risk letting her wrap around your neck... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have one of those in the toilet block in my workshed, great for keeping the nasties away.... and the rats and mice.
Why would you want that in your house... I consider snakes an intermediate step in the production of a nice set of shoes... M
I have lots of rats, catch at least one a week in my traps, one of the unglamorous aspects of living on Sydney Harbour that the real estate pages fail to mention. I've thought of letting the snake loose under the house, but I suspect she'd just bugger off and live off baby possums, of which we also have too many - they're more of a nuisance than the rats!
Yep,it's a lot different up here where the wild are just that, they take care of themselves naturally, possums don't go where the snakes are and the snakes can go wherever they want. You'd possibly find that the snake would/could deal with the possums,in so far as when it's time for possum mating season(as you'll be aware, they make a racket),they could move away and leave you in peace. You'd also possibly be aware, that possums carry various ticks and fleas......I'd give the snake some freedom... Mind you,one of those wrapped itself around the bellhousing of one of my 80 series a few years ago, took it for a service, the owner(who lives on a property out of town,on acreage),phoned me to deal with it as he's sh#tscared of 'em!
