I hope that's not an oil leak. Better start a website!

Don't worry. The wine also goes on the bill. Along with a few hours of counselling. It'll be on the road again in 2025, no stress.

yep, a website about buying cars from the father of a mechanic caught up in oil gate.......shhhhhhh but its really a ruse to jump the queue ahead of a notorious Russian mobster who needs new modular wheels fitted to his 360.

Water pump failure.....silly me....I just thought it was the air con belt squealing when in fact the bearings were on the way out on the water pump....luckily (as with all my mechanical drama's in the Ferrari), the water pump let go just when I arrived at a client's house.

Lol, **** man! Keep an eye on that belt noise next time. ;)

Lucky it's an easy job and you noticed the coolant leak straight away.

Many engines have been cooked in the past because of coolant leaks.

Hope CJ doesn't keep feeding you alcohol trying to get you drunk to take advantage of you and he gets your Ferrari back on the road as soon as possible. :)

Cheers Pap....you know CJ all to well. At least once its in CJ's workshop, I'll finally get on top of all the little issues that detract from the over-all driving experience.

So, not the car's fault at all. You should not drive any car that's making a squealing noise.

Carl, please take him to the 'special' punishment room...

As for Porker reliability, lets talk about the 911 vs Ferrari record on the GG. Score is zero failure for one, two for the other.

RE:point 1- I should know better too but the squealing occurred when the air con was first turned on. I learnt the hard way........had I even realised the nature of the problem, I would've taken it to BS rather then waited the few weeks before my car was due to go to CJ's workshop.

RE:point 2- Oh..is that what you call it....CJ was calling it the pleasure dome.

RE:point 3 - Fair point-this is my first real mechanical failure and you know what Ian, the car gave me ample warning too.....I just ignored her. As I said, silly me
