    For me one of the best trips I have ever done was 3 years ago when Klink , Rob and I were ferrying Simon's 330 and 365 to and from Melbourne starting at Caboolture.

    It was a 5,000 km round trip done in a fashion they were made for

    I drove from Brisbane to Broken Hill in 1992.

    1,550 klms or so with 2 drivers in about 12-13 hours including stopping for lunch and fuel.

    I wouldn't be game to try it in this day and age.

    That would have been fun! The Ferraris look fantastic! :)

    The one thing I will probably regret when I am old man is how many great drives I will miss out on just by living out here.

    I enjoy reading and hearing about some of the crazy driving stories you guys touch on here and even some of the locals from 30+ years ago.

    Basically saying that most of you are old cooters, but I enjoy reading your posts! :D

    Day 2 driving Klink's 330 with him in the passenger seat urging me to break the land speed record was the most fun I've had off the track bar that spin around the Adelaide hills chasing PSW and MHH :)

    Did you see the date on the photos ?

    This was only a couple of years ago, on less travelled roads, we obeyed all posted speed limits hence my 6 month sabbatical :eek:

    I saw the date and remember the trip from when you guys posted here about it.

    We are the kings of having 'less travelled roads' out here mate.............................but there is always a Cop just around the corner.

    Yep long drives are great. All relevant things willing DL & I plan to repeat our Perth trip in 2017 .
