    Hi, folks
    I see John Bowe's blue/tan F355 Spider is up for sale on uniquecarsales.com

    Has anyone here had a look at the car recently or even had a pre-sale inspection done on it?

    I'm thinking of buying my first Ferrari... as a retirement gift to myself.

    I've seen the checklists on the forum, but are there any specialist I can contact in Melbourne who could do an inspection on the car for me. I reside in NSW, so I would have to fly down there at some point to get a general idea of the condition of the car.

    I currently drive and maintain a 1989 Lotus Esprit, so I know how valuable advice is from forums like this.

    Try Tim at Black Stallion Motors in Ringwood. He did a fine job maintaining my 355 for 10 years, including a full engine rebuild.

    You can do a google search "Ferrari mechanics Melbourne" that might bring up something else helpful.
