    Well I'm just putting it out there. I've owned the car for 3 years now and although I love it to bits I fancy something different. Thinking of maybe going for a lotus Elise or Exige which I can use for track days and also as a daily driver. Just did the major with extras, car is in great condition with full history and all receipts from new. Millie f1 exhaust,carbon sills, tdf blue.UK car but is rust free. I'd consider one of the above as a trade. Pm me if interested

    Thought about that!! Not that bothered really Steve I still love the car but I've got an itch that needs scratching and her indoors says something's gotta give so just putting it out there. Happy to keep it if nothing happens as prices are on the up and the dollar is on the way down!

    Just bought the wife a sirocco R so can't even pull that trick out of the hat. I did suggest an exige but she wouldn't buy into it

    Seriously, you'd be mad to try to sell that in the Oz market.

    It's gorgeous, even with the goose standing in front of it.
    But you'd get shafted trying to sell it here.

    Rent a track day car and keep that.

    They haven't made a Lotus for a man since the Esprit disappeared.
    Might as well buy a Boxster.

    Yes it got a couple of dents in the roof during transit to oz,the buttress had been fixed poorly and the usual stone chips so did the whole car except the engine cover. Then spent 150 hrs roughly cutting back and compounding. It looks like glass close up

    Looking at those photos makes me think that selling would be a decision you'd come to regret.

    Steve's got it the wrong way around (much like buying an import). :p If you want or need a girl's car, keep the F355. Any woman can drive paddle shift, I'm sure she appreciates the leather and carpet, she can get in and out of it without issue when wearing a skirt. Plus it has ultra light power steering, so no physical effort is required to steer or park it. Perfect for the missus.

    If you want an actual sports car, get an elise or exige. Very few women can drive a proper manual, there's minimal sound insulation so you'll hardly hear a word she's saying when you're driving, and she won't be able to get in or out of it if she's wearing a skirt. And no power steering... You have to drive it with your arms fully engaged, not a pinky fingertip.

    Moral of the story... If you wear a dress, drive a flappy paddle 355. If you wear pants, drive an elise. :D
