Thank you PP and yes, the car is much much improved.....clutch take up is better, brakes feel so much better with the original spec pads rather then the EBC pads, steers better, the car tracks better....I went for a long drive. Just got back home......2 a.m in the morning....almost a revelation.....just MAYBE Carl knows what he is doing. See you at Funkies.....if i ever get there on time......hope the sun is shining. No time for a proper detail. Just a quick hose down, which is just how Carl likes it.
Why do you think I was giving CJ the one finger salute? I'm not too confident i'll even make FCA concours without being pushed most of the way there.
It's pleasing to read that you're back on the road and clocking up mileage on a late night drive. I hope the trip to/from FCA Concours happens without incident
Well, it managed to get from the display back to Funkies to drop me at my car (thank you again for that), and it was running as I left, so let's hope he makes it home.
Try a 355! Best seats I've ever had. Meanwhile, I rode my new beast up the hills and had a blast....20 degrees and sunshine! Did I miss any cars that I might not have seen before? Doubtful!
Shhhh I shouldn't say this but display wise, it was ok.......and I think its a reflection of it being on mother's day if anything. But I meet a lot very good people today and THAT is the true measure of a successful event.
One (of many) things against the GTS relative to the GTB is ingress/entry and exit of the car. Firstly, the GTS has the higher sills and secondly, when you have the targa roof stowed behind the seats, it takes away valuable leg room and makes entering and getting out the car even more difficult. Sorry about that AKA.....next time, no roof behind the seats
seen them both.....been in an Espada...so I didn't miss much I rode past just after 2....everyone had gone. That was a surprise.
