I think it's awful that the moral police think they have the right to tell anyone how to live their life. I think it's disgraceful that anyone tries to force their morals or religion or politics onto others.

Whilst I may or may not agree with the site and what it represents, I believe that it had the right to carry on as a legitimate and legal business, and that no one had the right to hack it and publish the private information of people who were using it.

The fact that someone might find 'cheating' abhorrent or disgraceful which means the hacking is ok, isn't looking at the big picture IMO

I completely agree. It's no ones business what someone else is doing in their private life, whether THEY deem it acceptable or not. Who made them the moral police and what right do they have to out these men OR WOMEN, who, for all we know are in happy stable family relationships. For whatever reason, the person in question is obviously missing out on something in their relationship and has to find it outside. I don't agree with it, but it is certainly THEIR business and not mine or anyone else's. To vilify these people for nothing more than not 'approving' of their life choices based on YOUR standards, is wrong.

I don't agree with what the hackers have done, but I don't have much sympathy for those who have been "caught out" either.

It's a bit rich for people to be bleating about the effect this will have on families and children now.

Funny how they didn't consider the impact of their actions while they were signing up...

    Do you have comprehension issues?

I don't agree with the hack. I wouldn't have done it and I don't support it.
    But, it has been done.

Now that it has been done, for those who have been caught out: suck ****.

    You reap what you sow.

I don't support the hacking and release of the data, and Ashley Madison should have had better security in place.

I've seen reference to some sites where you can type in an email address and see if it was part of the A.M. release, is anyone tempted to use that to see if their Significant Other is on the list, and what would you do if their email came up as a user ?

I don't agree with hacking but you have to expect ANYTHING you post on the good ol' interweb may well end up in the public domain.

LOL - he's probably on Match dotcom.
    That was pretty funny 👀

Isn't this supposed to be a Ferrari forum?!

Frankly, who the f*ck cares? People are going to do what they're going to do anyway. Some people like to take stupid pills (my opinion only).

I am very happy with the same wife for 37 years who allows me to look at other cars and buy those I like. I'm fortunate, and I realize it.

I also don't judge other people, but if you mess around, you'll probably have to give up your precious toys.

I think anyone silly enough to type a real email address into an online tool deserves all the spam (and potentially worse) that they get :)

Well, it's all very nice to say that if you know it's a problem....which most of us do, clearly, but is it fair to say that's the norm? I don't think so.

If that headline is true, then the hackers achieved exactly what they wanted to....destroying the Ashley Madison site.

It's the same with terrorists....they've won the war! Look at how much money, time and trouble is being spent in the world to protect 'us' from 'them' and meanwhile we're being harassed and punished in so many ways because of it.

    Like anti-gun nuts?

    Ohh wait

Ahh but was it legit? They were charging $19 to delete your history but they weren't doing it. The majority of users were males and the majority of females were bots/fake. All signs point to a dodgy business exploiting people, not a legitimate business at all.

It also looks like an inside job if it was a legit business the hacker probably wouldn't of gone out of his way to take down the company. Maybe the hacker wasn't paid his overtime? Who knows.

Anyway regardless if they were legit or not this hack is another reminder why it's a bad idea for our government to keep metadata of us.

None of that is relevant....or likely.

The hackers made it very clear why they hacked the site and what they were going to do with the info if the site wasn't shut down. They were just on the moral high horse, they thought.

There are good cases for hacking and hopefully idiots that trust the online world will now have their eyes open.

I would love to write a virus that killed any computer that had porn and children mentioned on it ... for example.
