There was a guy in Tumut that did perfect work. Regassed with no sign they were ever touched. I can not remember the name but a Google search should find it easily.

Probably to keep the originality of the vehicle.

Have heard of other members having their struts re-gassed for the same reason.

I just replaced mine front and rear.

There must be tons of strut regas guys down there. I got the bonnet struts regassed on the 456, but only because I had the bonnet off. They can do it while you wait and it's usually pretty cheap.

I got mine done soon after I got it. Went to a place called Gas Strut Engineering in Fawkner. See David. He's a car nut too and was very helpful.

I have had plenty done by Al at Struts Regassed over the last 15 years or so.

He can re-gas or supply replacements very inexpensively. He is mobile and works from a van and is a car guy.

    Contact him on 0427 929 468

    Cheers
    Scott

Thanks for the reply’s, will follow up on the suggested Locals.....
Yes reason for not going straight to New is to try and keep original... Some of the old ones have the Ferrari Logo on them also.

    Cheers,
    Rob.
