    Has anyone here considering buying one, either as a compliment to their Ferrari or a replacement (God forbid)....

    I personally think it's priced 'okay'-ish, about $320,000 drive away, but it's missing something!!

    I am warming to it better looking than the SLS AMG but its missing....4 cylinders. and manual box.
    The sound of Bent 8's don't do it for me, as good as they are

    I think all the current Benz models are ugly as sin.

    Those noses are just awful.

    I agree but your motor has a flat plain crank so it sounds rather different.

    Twisted cranks are to me common American muscle and merc 8s just sound like one with expensive muffllers... sorry

    Don't you think it's impossible to pass judgement on the car until you drive it? There's some peripheral concerns such as styling, size, luggage space and performance, but isn't the dynamics the number one priority?

    Carl Im only commenting on the sound.
    Like every new car they keep getting better. and from watch the videos i am sure its a really good thing. and as for driving one, I will probably never get the chance unless in time it becomes an affordable EOHOS....

    Amazingly loud and fast. The interior and craftmanship is exquisite. Our dealer in Austin has three and the black with chocolate interior one owner low mileage is 170k. Did I go wrong with the F430 6 speed ? I think not....

    Considering it's an AMG, it will probably be worth 10k once the warranty runs out. (Yes, I'm exaggerating, but I don't see it being as special as an slr nor an sls for that matter)
