A little bit of both.........but being serious everyone owns one because you get a sense of feeling A LOT more safe behind the wheel of one of these cars driving through the outback roads when you go away on holidays as there is some pretty big wild life out there. People buy these cars and put big bullbars on them to avoid major accidents and major damage to their cars. I have posted this video before, just shows how quickly this can happen. The Brother driving at night his 2005 BMW 750Li with factory Xenon lights. He was doing the speed limit of 100 km/h and you can't tell from this video, but those headlights are actually very good in his car. That little roo caused nearly $13,000 in damage and his car was off the road for a few months while being repaired in Townsville.
