Just wondering who on here is going on the 11th.

Qld concours today managed not a bad mix ranging from 330, 365, through various 3x8, then onwards up through the range to current 488. Surprising number of 12 pots as well; 456 seems to be the popular thing at present. Not a single 6 cylinder though, which is a bit sad. Pretty nice looking 328 for sale (at$179k) suffered from being parked beside Karen M' s mint car. Perfect Qld day beside the bay.
Back in the 00's everyone from the public was invited. I went to the one at Darling Harbour, Vaucluse House, The Rocks, Hunters Hill etc. Now it's become a secret wankers get together. Was there an incident with the public that caused the change? Just interested. Or is it because of this bloke Image Unavailable, Please Login
Funny. I saw "FCA NSW" and thought, "What the hell kind of Ferrari Club meeting could be 'Not Safe for Work'." So I had to peek. instead, turns out it's just your everyday Aussie pissing and moaning contest. Play on boys. D
I am not on the NSW committee, have nothing to do with organising their concorso, I volunteer for judging when asked. I'll be away for this year's state event. The problem is crowd control and the behavior of the public that reflects on the club. Some years ago we always used a lovely park in Hunters Hill. Somebody decided to do a burnout, a neighbor called the police, the council banned us.
Ian, thanks for the insight, I was aware there was a reason other than it being secret squirrel business. I have it in mind to go at this point in time.
I'm gunna miss the concourse this year as i fly out a few days prior, pretty upset about it but hopefully be back for auto italia.
