Hi guys, Is there a local (i.e. Australian) solution for the "sticky buttons" or should I ship my buttons to https://stickynomore.com/ ? BTW, has anyone here in Australia used their service? Thanks.
Hi Gabe, I think Billy from BM Leather Creations in Melbourne can de-sticky the buttons, give him a call: https://www.yellowpages.com.au/vic/richmond/bmleather-creations-12552281-listing.html
Interesting. I'll be doing this next year, and need not just the switches, but the door handles and a couple of other bits done as well. Was planning on sending them to StickyRx or SNM, but if there's a local solution (even if not exactly down the road) I'd be interested. Does anyone have some pics of the finished product from a local business? Whilst I don't want to spend more than necessary I also don't want to go to all the trouble for the result to look less than perfect.
Somehow I doubt the local solution, if any, is of the same quality as Stickynomore. Just cleaning off the stick stuff leaves a hard black shiny finish which isn't like the original Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's kind of what I'm afraid of. If it's just going to be cleaning off the sticky and doing bugger-all else, I'd rather send it OS. It's amazing that no-one anyware has managed to re-create the soft feel without it going sticky again down the track. Surely BMW / Merc / Audi can do this? How hard can it be?
another stupid and uneducated comment. How many can you make in one thread? You have no idea what BM does, and yet you comment? Just makes you look dumb, because you're wrong.............again
More abuse All that has been listed in this thread is using "Charlie's soap". That will get rid of the stickiness but won't leave an OEM finish Please contribute something positive
I already did. You wouldn't have missed it if you weren't so full of yourself and felt obliged to give that uninformed and ludicrous opinion. Just stick to facts or shut up! Like I always do.
He didn't mention any names. Unless BM is the only person in this country who does this, you're the dumbass. What he did say was that the spray-on stuff you used will come off again. Where's Moretti, so we can ask him how his interior is holding up?
More abuse Fact is you haven't contributed to this thread apart from pointing out that Melbourne isn't local to QLD.
Picking up people's stupidity in posts is even starting to bore ME! Some of you make it fish in a barrel easy though.
