599 Buying Advice Aus

Jkay,I dunno who,if anyone,you've spoken to re FEV12HOS,but I think you'll find the 599 and 612's are more of a luxuryliner than a sports Ferrari.

I know KIAI and Greg love their 575's and are well tuned to give you advice better than me.

 

599 is not a luxury liner Simon, they're quite firm and savagely fast.

 

Very fast and a lot of car for the money.

OH! Ok,must have been the ride in the 612 with Mark that gave that impression.

Still,for mine,the 599/612 look large and unwieldy compared to the 550/575's

 

They look much larger than a 575.

About 2 years ago, a red 599 was pretty much sale proof and were trading in the low $200k. Advertised prices now are around $300k+ these days but I doubt they sell as they seem to be the same cars for sale. I'd see value at mid to high $200k. I don't like red, they look like a firetruck. Black or metallic grey is best IMO. I like this one

But I would not swap/trade a 575 for one as I don't like the look. F12 is a different matter....

Out of my price range unfortunately, however I think they look fantastic especially in the darker colours.

Yes, the fact you beat PVL in that "Luxobarge" is a brilliant time.

He beat me at EC in the 599, the only 599 to do so

I'm not talking to you about driving when we're at the GP

 

I wouldn't take a V12 recommendation from this guy. Or a PPI from JM for that matter.

 

looks awesome in that colour. Twice the car of a 550/575 btw...good choice if you end up with one.

I find them uninspiring to drive (but not as must as a 575), but I'm odd, to say the least.

 

Beautiful colour on that car, the colour to have on a 599 IMO.
