I will up there Graeme and hopefully we can catch up for a meal or a drink...not sure what I am coming up in. I am being threatened with a Fiat 850 Spider and question if we will make it! Regards Phil (your judge buddy)
sounds like fun! maybe you could hit them up for 'handicap' points to nab the 'furthest distance' award.
no. Mexico may be finished soon, end of April I am expecting. Body was the major issue (again) although not as bad as the 365 was. At the auto elec for the rewire now.
Need some advice from Canberra locals...my 308 is booked on the Tas ferry Sat 22 April so I'm toying with the idea of driving / transporting it to Canberra for Auto Italia and then picking it up and continuing to Melb around the 20 April. Anyone got space to keep a 308 for 2 weeks, or recommendation for a good storage place?
yes thanks Graeme, but not coming - whimped out and shipping car direct to Melbourne for the Tas trip - you've just reminded me to pm the kind people who offered help! thanks!
Hows the timing for the weather11 .. spot on Sunday partly cloudy and 21 as close as perfect as you can get!! I am heading down today with the plan to get the hotel for happy hour!!!
Looking forward to it. As usual, I'll put up a truck load of photos for those that can't make it. Like you say Graeme, weather is looking like it's going to be great. Just don't forget, Sunday is the end of daylight saving, so wind your watches back!
I'll hope too meet a few more F-chatters this year,i'll be at the model car tent. Safe driving everyone.
Hope you all have a great day! One of my roving reporters spotted a convoy of 16 Bambini around Goulburn so there'll be something interesting to see!
I have to say, I'm a FIAT person, but I cannot for the life of me see any redeeming feature in the 500s, .... too small, too slow and too ugly. Now a 124 sport or 2300S coupe or 130 coupe or an 8V , ... they are great cars
