That's a shame. I could have dropped off the left side as a temp fix for you.

I wonder if the right side "always" goes first?

Got the Tubi headers through Best Exhausts in a great deal set up by Elliott.
If you can get a couple of people together for a group buy it makes a big difference.

    Hi Darren

If your headers are original, the material quality is so poor, they are not repairable.

I used JP Exhausts in the UK to replace both sides with better quality stainless. They removed and replaced the original heat shields. All for GBP1000. Freight there and back was additional of course.

Thank for your input guys. JM, i'll make contact with JP. Surely someone in Australia can do what JP in the UK can do.

Hi John thanks for the info. I was going to drop 3k in pounds for a set of Tubi headers. I will now go down your route as it's the same result for a third of the price. 👍

JP charge 810 pounds per side, thats 1620 for two. Factor in exchange rate, waiting time, delivery charges, etc still looking at 4k + AUD. and then you're still getting a ' repaired' set of manifolds.

I'm not that interested, but if you trust him, (and if you don't why is he your mechanic?), then why don't you just rely on his experience and suggestions?

I had them repaired on mine and they never leaked again for the rest of my ownership, which was many years after.
