Driving is just about dead in Qld unfortunately... returned from Macs Bridge this afternoon over the Mt Mee road at the stately pace of 20 mph. of course these people who can't drive through corners, or downhill without sitting on their brakes, took off like scalded cats as soon as the got to the bottom and flat straight road... so frustrating. At least when I got over to the highway I was heading north; southbound 'freeway' was a crawl from Caloundra turnoff to Caboolture at about 3 this afternoon. Coolum to Bris 116km now takes 2 hours on average, for what's supposed to be a 110km road. 20 years ago, I only had to allow 90mins for the same trip. So frustrating.
It's all bloody QLDers fault !!! Coming home from Macleans it was at a standstill from Pimpama to Helensvale .... no reason, just dumb ****s, took a back road which added 20 k to the trip and then had to come out at Coomera near Dreamworld only to find out I'm right back behind the same moron that I left back at Pimpama It's because all these morons tailgate and the major morons then cut across 4 lanes to get to the off ramp at the last second .... shoot them I say !!! Oh wait, hold it, the coppers are out booking moretti for doing 7 kliks over the limit I blame women and 4wds ... THE END !! Oh, and automatics

I went into Brissy for lunch, heard about the traffic at Coomera, thought "Poor Moretti", and enjoyed my Fettuccine con Pollo, happy in the knowledge that it will clear (it did) before I got there. To the OP, if you do a burnout where people can hear you, or even see the marks the next day, be prepared for public condemnation.
Why anyone lives in Brisbane / Gold Coast is completely beyond me. The weather is actually rubbish apart from a couple of months per year, the traffic is terrible, the food is rubbish, the airport is awful, there are nowhere near enough bottle shops, they play some homer sexual version of football where fat bastards with no neck run around sniffing each other's bums, moretti is wandering around in tracksuit pants scaring small children... ....most of my family is up there...
