    There is a twin bee that is usually on the lake my parents live on, it was in that movie The Rum Diary. There was also a twin bee in Caddyshack.
    I'm so used to seeing it, it's like the single engine one is 'weird.'

    Interesting. Ernie Gann had a Derringer for a while and he said that it wasn't much of an airplane. His main complaint was with the canopy opening forward and letting the rain or snow or hot sun come blasting down into the cockpit. It was kind of a silly airplane, according to him.f

    I have heard the comment that there was never any good reason to make such a small airplane a twin - other than to just say it was a twin.
