    Actually they now are saying this is related to something on the production line... It was an upgraded version of the FADEC. French Air Force planes have racked up 10 000 hrs of flight no problem with the first version.
    This A400M has been a nightmare from start to current. Beyond that crash, they are nowhere near where they should have been: a) the ECM system is not ready b) they aren't yet able to get troopers to jump out of the side doors and c) the plane was supposed to be able to serve as chopper refueling tanker and that not operational either.
    Unlike other Airbus productions where eventually they got their act together, this is proving harder.

    Total disaster (and I am an Airbus supporter)
