    I can envision the jet above and overtaking the 172 and possibly both becoming aware of the other aircraft. The Cessna banking left to get out the way and the jet banking right to get clear, both right wings hitting. Too bad.

    Sadly, an old friend of mine from my USAF days was flying the Sabreliner. He was one of the kindest human beings I ever knew and fellow Wild Weasel. Lt. Col (ret) James "Dick" Hale, may he have constant blue skies.
