The 737 line is real success story when it comes to lean manufacturing etc....
The same processes are used on the 777 line but slightly slower, an aircraft almost three times larger rolling out in less than 3 days.

Boeing has been doing those time-lapse construction videos for years. They are great fun!

    Bob,

That's just amazing... you are very talented.

    Nice looking livery, too.

    Thank you.

(Your grass looks a litte brown.) :)

Thank you, I am not too disappointed in the way this one turned out. That's not grass in the background, it is a 1.00" thick layer of leaves and pine needles on the driveway from the trees behind us. Had a big wind storm a couple of days before the pics were made. This profile painting is one of 8 that will be displayed next year by Boeing to help celebrate their 100th Anniversary. The B&W , Boeing's first, will be the 1916 end of the "book end" and the 787-9 will be the 2016 end. In between will be the 314 Clipper, B-17G, 307, 367-80, KC-135, 707-121, 757, and KC-46. I have a lot more in work but I don't know if I can get them finished in time. Layouts done for the P-51, and the P-26 is almost finished and that is sure a bright one. I'm not as fast as I used to be but I'm chugging along.
