Here's a video I made of the Huntington Beach airshow. Enjoy! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULgZkHtJfJY[/ame]
Great video, editing. I'm going to see the Blue Angels perform at PAX River next weekend. This video was inspirational, good soundtrack too. 👍 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What a great show!! was there Fri-sat-sunday!! hoping they do it again next year, but looking on Thunderbird sight it doesn't show anything scheduled for next year in HB!! great job Lou!!
Lou- Nice video and they got a great turn-out with the Thunderbirds and an F/A-18. Not to mention all the aerobatic aircraft.
That video was really done well. Soooo many videos of air shows and planes are full of out of focus and shakey footage. Your video was really enjoyable to watch. Great framing of the shots and was zoomed in just enough to get us up close without having to be sitting on the beach I wanted to take my boat to HB off the shore but didn't know if it would be a good view. Seems from all the boats in the video that it was a real good idea, damn it, I should of thrown the wife and kid into the 410 sea ray and went out there. Next year for sure Thanks again for the well shot and edited video,
Great video of a great show!! Thanks Lou for posting. I was there with the wife and kids on Sat. A really nice day.
Thanks for all the nice comments. I had a friend out on a boat, he said it was awesome. Sadly, time constraints and the weather meant missing much of the Thunderbirds performance. Next time I guess. Anyways, thanks for taking the time to watch. I'll post the raw footage of that F-18 pass that's near the end of the video. The sound was incredible! Seeing my sons reaction was priceless.
What was awesome was watching them practice all week over my house! Too bad it was raining on Sunday, we were still out there though.. Great video, you really caught all the great moments!
I've always enjoyed over-ocean airshows. I remember seeing the Thunderbirds flying F-100s over the ocean in San Juan, PR, back in 1965 or so, and another airshow off of Fort Lauderdale about 30 years later. In between were shows off of Jones Beach and Coney Island in NY; the latter had (reportedly) over a million spectators!
