I fly into Palm Beach International more often than any other airport besides ATL, and I wonder if the fact that Mar-a-Lago is now the "winter White House" has made any changes required in departure procedures.

Most flights depart on 10L and fly straight ahead until over the ocean, where they will turn about 210 degrees left (in one or two turns) to cross back over the coast headed roughly WNW. This route takes them just north of Mar-a-Lago as they cross the coast the first time.

Since the resident of Mar-a-Lago is now POTUS, does anyone know if flights are now required to turn left sooner, such as when reaching the Intracoastal Waterway? I would think that might be a possibility, but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.

(Also, I looked at the latest FAA Airport Diagram for PBI to see if any new "restricted area" had been added, as a parking place for Air Force One, but didn't see anything new.)

Speaking anecdotally since I don't follow flight rules, most flights still takeoff to the east depending on the winds. I don't know if they divert before Mar-a-Lago.

On my flight to PBI this past weekend, the inbound flight landed from the east on 28R; the outbound flight was the usual on 10L, so both flights flew over Mar-a-Lago. But since Trump didn't make the trip down this weekend, the approaches were normal and I didn't learn anything. (I did find out that the stretch of route A1A that passes the estate is closed to traffic whenever he is in the house.)

Of course, with the PGA Tour in town, the FBOs on the south side were packed with the golfers' bizjets!

Causing some problems down there. Somewhere in the vicinity of 20-30 pilots have already busted the airspace and had violations filed. In some cases they had USAF escorts. Reminds me of the olden days in the UK when we needed to dodge Royal Flights.

A lot of VFR pilots apparently do not check the NOTAMs regularly.

Couple weeks ago I thought something crashed into my roof around 7pm. Went out with a flashlight to inspect and saw nothing. The next morning on the news I saw it was a sonic boom from a fighter from Homestead that went supersonic to intercept one of these guys.

The Lantana airport (where some of the 9/11 hijackers trained) is shut down everytime he is in town, if they don't figure something out it's going to bankrupt everyone there.
